Overseas music journalists have also discovered FUTURO. This is what some of them have to say:Well Tight!
Low Frequency in Stereo are refreshingly old-school and continue to develop with what is their best album so far.

Psych-Garage Blowout
In search of the psych-garage blowout with space-rock droning, a cool, motorik insistency and notes of retro-futurist pop? Look no further than The Low Frequency In Stereo, proof that it's not all Scandi-jazz in Norway. This wryly titled fourth LP deserves to shove them into the spotlight. It pays respect to Cluster, Klaus Schultz, The Stooges and The Beatles' White Album, but reveals their true kindered spirits as Black Mountain, Sinoia Caves and Stereolab. We'd love to hear Danger Mouse let loose on this lot sometime.

This record rocks.
Honestly, I could stop right there and you would know all you need to about The Low Frequency in Stereo, but I suppose it's worth going into detail as to just how this record rocks. And when I say "rocks," I mean "your socks off." Pants, too.

Every song on Futuro is a self-contained gem, blessed with hooks and great sounding instruments.
Futuro, while it nods blatantly to the past, is the place to be right now.

The Low Frequency in Stereo proves that not everything from Norway is evil
Describing Norway’s The Low Frequency in Stereo as “eclectic” is an unfortunate understatement. Futuro toggles, in a rather freewheeling fashion, between anthemic pop by-way-of shoegazing and total fucking weirdness.

If genres and styles are the ethnicity of the musical realm, then there are seeds of this utopia planted in “Futuro”, the fourth album from the West Coast low-fiers The Low Frequency In Stereo.

WIth their prior album scoring a nomination for a Norwegian Grammy, The Low Frequency In Stereo raise their game, recruiting a wealth of Norwegian talent for this first outing on Rune Grammofon.

LFiS were immense
... they were playing in the Parliament building; thus, this was the equivalent of Mogwai playing in the Scottish government buildings. Weird. But LFiS were immense. Stunning in front of only a handful of people, their sonic assault was unparalleled. Walls of sound jammed up with a cosmic Moog floating in the midst.
